September 2016… Still plugging away after a very HOT summer. Have some interesting agent leads and more to go, Facebook promotion on trailers went very well with thousands of views. Please help in spreading the word on social media. Rocket motorcycle 96% complete with only a professional wiring job to left to be done (Initial wiring works but needs a professional to hide the wires, etc.), motorcycle is functional and running. Next in line will be to paint the little rocket car in true “ACME” style. There are no plans at present to light off the rocket motor unless Warner Bros. wishes to do so at their own risk haha. If you wish to receive a free business-card size picture of the movie lobby poster let me know. Please feel free to write with comments or questions.
May 2016 I came across this interesting website called www.change.org, which is a site in which people can promote their causes or whatever they want by accumulating signatures on a petition, when when the magic number of signatures have been reached (the goal), the petition is then sent to whoever is in the position to make a change (in this case it would be Warner Bros.). So why not click on the link, read the page and at the bottom add your signature. Your email will not be collected nor will you be hassled by ads, etc. The page is for the purpose to demonstrate to Warner Bros. (who own all rights to the names, etc. of the Roadrunner / Wile E. Coyote saga) that many many people would like to see the FIRST live-action movie regarding the eventual fate of the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote, long after the cartoon series ended. the link is:
Thank you very much and don’t forget to pass the word along to your friends… would you not like to see their first live-action (non-animated) story about Wile’s life rather than go see (no offense) Iron Man 8 or whatever it is up to now?
April 2016… ok, I learned my lesson… write the book first, not the screenplay. So I will be writing a typical novel type book of t.l.f.o.w.c., then work on getting the script accepted. I need a movie agent, but unless a writer is already well-established, or is a star or whatever, a spec script written by an unestablished (had not already wrote a script that was made into a movie) has little to no chance of acceptance by either many agents and just about every movie agency, most of whom require an agent to contact them.
March 2016… still here! working on prop machines and finding an agent. many agents do not take on clients who are not already established, so if you know of an agent that may be interested in this project please contact me! I had been writing agents that required a referral (of which I have none), so I will start now with the agents that will accept newbys. Anybody who has an “inside” to Warner Bros. or a well-known actor who would like to play a role in the movie, please pass this information onto them.
November 2014… updated the pdf file for the script under “read screenplay”. this newer version eliminates several issues and clutter in the old version and reduced the page count very slightly. the amazon and barnes and noble versions will continue to be the original versions for now, so i highly suggest you read the pdf file from this website for the updated script. happy thanksgiving!
October 2014… had lots of other stuff going on (like having my home demolished) but have started to send out query letters to agents… 10 in the last week to begin with. will be sending out 10 every week and hopefully eventually an agent will request (and like the script) enough to rep me. this is likely tho to be a long process unless you are a super-star or well known/connected in hollywood… otherwise, you can send out 100 query letters, if you are lucky 10 out of that 100 will ask for your script and if you are still lucky 1 out of that 10 will agree to be your agent. still putting finishing touches on props and obtaining a tow vehicle for the rocket bike trailer… diesel only this time.
July – August 2014… still plugging away! i’ve decided to obtain an agent because movie studios generally don’t take a screenwriter seriously without one. i should have got one a long time ago but you know how it is. even getting an agent can be difficult if you are an unknown, but, hey, how can it hurt?
April – June 2014… plugging away as usual with contacts, the props and other issues. added an “acme” bomb (actually a rocket fuel pressure tank) to the bike, looks just like a classic round cartoon bomb. greatly adds travel distance to the bike while under rocket power. too scared to try it out for now so just concentrating on the visuals for it for now.
March 2014… just about finished with the move from texas to california and dealing with family health issues. added a heavy ray gun and tow missile to the rocket bike! the lawnmower machine has been dissasembled with the intent of changing the internal combustion engine. this may take a while, but the rocket bike and rocket car are basically finally ready to go with the exception of adding the “acme” paint job to the rocket car (this will be a temporary paint job until warner signs on) still no word from hollywood, but, hey, i’m just getting started! corresponding with the administrative side of warner bros. to see if this might help… they can’t ignore me forever! (well, i guess they can…) at the least they might want to use a few of my machines if warners decides to move forward on the movie concept…
January 2014… happy new year! still working on the machines and contacts… hey, if anybody knows or related to a Warner’s executive please send them my way! I did handwrite a Warners producer so we will wait to see what happens (or what does not happen). Thinking about getting an agent, it seems that this is about the only way unknown writers can get attention in Hollywood?
December 2013… hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas.
November 2013… still putting finishing touches on the rocket bike and the rocket car. spent most of the month dealing with the aftermath of a friend who had passed away.

“Writer Releases Screenplay for the Upcoming Fictional Release of “THE LAST FRIENDS OF WILLIE COYOTE” Movie”.
Since 1949, many cartoons and clips of one determined Coyote and a speedy Roadrunner have captivated audiences around the world. Now, from the mind of author Stephen Thor comes the spoiler screenplay for the first fully live-action, full-length movie about these two classic beloved creatures (and their faithful friends), set for an imaginary release in the summer of 2016. After over a half-century, the time has finally come for their story to be told.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Port Aransas, TX – as a tribute to the late Chuck Jones, creator and director of Wile E. Coyote, the Roadrunner and many other characters, and to Wile’s millions of fans, a determined author has just released a free ebook containing the only (known) fully live-action, real-life movie screenplay ever written about these two timeless and unforgettable desert creatures.
HOLLYWOOD SCRIPT EXPRESS writes: “THIS IS A SCRIPT THAT DISPLAYS ENORMOUS IMAGINATION AND TALENT”
Three young and lifelong inseparable friends venture out into the deep desert in an old car on a soul-searching road trip and travel along a closed and long-unused road. Each has their own reasons for venturing into these desolate and rarely-visited wastelands. They band together for one last time, bonded by their devotion for each other. Lost and nearly out of gas, they pass through an abandoned town and their car becomes disabled after a freak encounter with a wayward Acme rocket.
Guided by a cryptic map, they are forced to forge ahead on foot in the night to get help. The trio sneak onto a beyond-classified airbase commanded by a kind but tortured legendary officer. They witness a spectacular incident between a very familiar determined coyote and a speedy roadrunner. They realize that the two are not the cartoon characters that they (and everyone else) had thought for over six decades were – but are in fact real in every sense. The trio are detained on the crumbling base as honored guests and make a few good friends along the way. They also become aware of a brilliant race of human-like beings and a secretive tribe of native warriors who live far out in the vast regions of the doomed base. Until now, the real Willie Coyote and the others have been carefully hidden and protected on the secluded base for over a half century.
However, trouble is on the horizon. A powerful and angry man wrongfully bent on a terrible revenge gains entry to the base and unleashes a vast private army upon the innocent beings who are unprepared for a war of greed and hate. The only choices for them and others become to either fight, run or hide. A desperate call for help is made. But will they come in time? And will it do any good in the face of such horror?
At the height of an epic battle between good and evil, Willie unleashes upon the enemy the most diabolical and terrible machine he has ever constructed. His goal then becomes the most important one he has ever had in his life – an attempt to save the most precious friend he never realized before he even had. He has someplace new to go. Who (if anybody) makes it out alive from an inescapable trap is for you to discover for yourself.
“The Last Friends of Willie Coyote” is a tale of laughter, tears, hope, determination, friendships and rising above adversity in an extremely trying time.
But why now? Why would the author write this story?
He explains that over the last few decades many live-action movies based upon classic cartoon series or action-heroes of the past have been made. But as yet, unbelievably, no fully live-action studio movie has been made featuring the author’s favorite of all of his cartoon figures – Wile E. Coyote. So the author decided to do something about it. He wrote up the movie screenplay himself and hoped it would live up to the ideals of Mr. Jones‘s legacy, fans, friends and family.
While his ebook is free, he asks that any voluntary donations be made directly to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
“This project is not just about satisfying the Coyote’s fans. It’s about doing good and giving back to society. What better vehicle is there for this than two of the world’s most popular and loved cartoon characters of all time for so many?” Thor concludes.
Now available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other major book distributors, the ebook and much more information is also available at:
